Tailored leisure travel

Tailor-Made Holidays, Properly Made

Tailor-made means the itinerary starts from a blank page and your answers, not from a package with your name typed on it. Here is what that looks like in practice.

What you get

A Specialist, Not a Search Box

Anyone can book a flight. The work is in the hundred small decisions around it: which town to base yourself in, which of the two famous hotels actually suits you, when not to go, and what to do with the awkward half-day between checkout and the flight home.

Your specialist makes those decisions with you, and tells you their reasoning. Sometimes that reasoning is "skip it". The Amalfi Coast in August means sitting on the coast road in traffic; late September means the same view with room to breathe. Tokyo in Golden Week means fighting half of Japan for train seats. A good itinerary is as much about what it leaves out.

Itinerary design

Routes, pacing and the right number of stops. We would rather give you four unhurried nights in one town than seven rushed ones in three.

Flights and rooms on real availability

We book through direct relationships with airlines and hotel groups, so a proposed room is a room you can actually have.

The details that make it feel handled

Private transfers timed to your flight, a table held for the first night, tickets for the thing that sells out months ahead.

Support while you travel

Your specialist tracks the trip, and the duty line answers around the clock. Disruption is our problem to solve before it becomes yours.

Honeymoons, milestones and multi-centre trips

The bookings with no margin for error. These get the most planning time, on purpose.

Common questions

Asked Before Almost Every Booking

How far ahead should we enquire?

For most trips, two to four months gives you the full choice of rooms and flights. The exceptions are the sell-out seasons: cherry blossom in Japan, the Mara conservancies in migration season, and places like Giraffe Manor that book close to a year ahead. If your dates are fixed around a school holiday, earlier is always better.

Do you publish prices?

No, because a tailor-made itinerary does not have a list price. Two families can visit the same country in the same week and need completely different trips. Once we know your dates and party, the quote you get is specific, itemised and confirmed before you commit to anything.

Is my money protected?

Client funds are held in trust and covered by our bonding. The protection that applies to your specific booking is set out in writing with your quote, before you pay, so you can see exactly where you stand.

What happens if something goes wrong mid-trip?

You call one number. Your specialist or the duty consultant rebooks, rearranges and chases so you do not spend your holiday in an airline queue. That is most of the reason people book with us a second time.

Can you work around a rough budget?

Yes, and it helps to hear it early. A budget is not a test to pass. It just decides the trade-offs we recommend, and we would rather trim the hotel than the experience that made you want the trip.
